     Frank A. Kokmeyer, D.D.S. grew up spending his summers in the Yankee Springs Area. He moved to the the area over 30 years ago and founded Yankee Springs Dental in 1982. For many years he also owned a large practice in the Kalamazoo area, but his current focus is on serving patients right in his neighborhood. His goal is to provide a wide variety of excellent services in one friendly and comfortable location.
    Dr. Kokmeyer especially enjoys straightening teeth with braces. Over the years, he has helped patients achieve a straight smile, and he has taught the techniques to other providers. Combined with other procedures, he is able to make a dramatic difference in the appearance of a patient’s smile. The ability to use his expertise in many techniques in addition to braces makes our office the perfect choice for short-term braces for adults. Many adults have had their smile changed dramatically in six months with a savings in time and expense.
    Frank and his wife, Verna, are proud of their seven grown children.  Several of them have gone into healthcare. As they grew up, all spent some time working at the dental office. It is a tradition which has helped with college tuition, and also gave each a desire to meet the needs of others in their communities.     .
    Dr. Kokmeyer is a graduate of Western Michigan University and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is a member of the ADA, MDA and the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Christine Ackermann, D.D.S. is Dr. Kokmeyer's daughter. She grew up enjoying time on Gun Lake and now shares the experience with her husband and four children. She is happy to serve those she has come to know over the years and looks forward to meeting new friends.
Dr. Ackermann is a graduate of Western Michigan University and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is a member of the ADA and MDA.

Karla has been mairied for 30 years and has lved in our area for 12 years. She has two children and 2 1/2 grandchildren. When not helping our patients, she enjoys reading, riding, travel, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets, Kody and Cleo.

Kayla grew up in the are and has been getting dental care at Yankee Springs Dental since she was in the 3rd grade. She spends her time away from the office snowmobiling, shopping and just having fun.
